Laboratory & Research Facilities

Kenon focuses on segmented fields of animal nutrition, with the R&D orientation of "Precision Biochemical Intervention to Unlock Core Nutritional Value". We concentrate on three core sectors: intestinal protection, fat digestion and absorption, and liver protection. Relying on core products and specialized technologies, we develop precision nutrition solutions suitable for different animals and growth stages, helping farms reduce costs, improve efficiency, enhance quality and increase income, showcasing the technical strength and responsibility of a national high-tech enterprise and provincial-level "Little Giant" enterprise.

Liver Protection
Product: Bile Acids(Kelebile)

The liver is the core organ of nutrient metabolism in animals, responsible for detoxification, energy conversion, nutrient synthesis and other key functions. Liver health is essential for efficient animal growth. With bile acids as its core product, Kenon bases its research on the physiological characteristics of animal livers, explores the nutritional value of natural bile acids, and builds a precise and differentiated liver-protective nutrition system to strengthen animal livers and promote efficient energy and nutrient flow.

R&D Directions:

Optimize innovative extraction processes for bile acids, break through bottlenecks of traditional extraction technologies, maximize the natural activity and physiological functions of bile acids, and improve product purity and efficacy.
Follow the philosophy of "customized strategies for species and stages", develop targeted nutrition programs based on physiological differences of different animals (aquaculture, livestock and poultry, etc.) and liver metabolic characteristics at key growth stages (larval, growing, fattening/laying stages, etc.);
In-depth research on the mechanism of bile acids in liver detoxification, fat transport and metabolic regulation, optimize application schemes to reduce metabolic burden and enhance liver function.
We aim to realize the R&D goal of "Strong Liver, Smooth Energy Flow, and Guaranteed Growth Performance", helping animals improve production performance and extend the farming cycle.

Fat Digestion and Absorption
Product: Kelenon

Fat is a core energy source for animal growth and development, and its digestion and absorption efficiency directly affects feed utilization and farming costs. With Kelenon as its core product, Kenon focuses on efficient conversion of fat nutrition, breaking the low efficiency and energy waste of traditional fat utilization. Empowered by core technologies, we ensure full utilization of every gram of oil in feed, helping farms reduce costs and improve efficiency.

R&D Directions:

Take biological enzymatic hydrolysis as the core technical foundation, continuously optimize enzymatic parameters and production processes to improve the activity and purity of Kelenon.
Take component optimization and efficacy enhancement as dual focuses of R&D, screen Kelenon formulations suitable for different animal species and oil types, strengthen its emulsification and dispersion capabilities, and promote full decomposition and absorption of fat in the intestine;
Explore the synergistic effect of Kelenon with other nutrients, optimize application schemes to further improve fat digestibility, reduce oil waste and farming costs, and alleviate environmental pressure from aquaculture.

Intestinal Protection
Product: Kevecon

The intestine is the primary site for nutrient absorption and the body’s largest immune barrier. intestinal health directly determines nutrient conversion efficiency and animal production performance. Kenon focuses on the R&D and application of tributyrin, specializing in intestinal health. With its unique targeted sustained-release characteristics, tributyrin precisely releases butyric acid molecules in the posterior intestine, avoiding degradation by gastric acid and maximizing its physiological efficacy.

R&D Directions:

Continuously optimize the esterification structure and large-scale production process of tributyrin to overcome the industry challenge of butyric acid loss in the stomach, achieving full coverage and sustained efficacy along the entire intestinal tract.
In-depth research on the regulatory mechanism of butyric acid molecules on intestinal physiology, promoting intestinal villus development and thickening the intestinal mucosa through technological optimization, strengthening the intestinal physical and immune barriers;
Inhibiting the colonization of harmful pathogenic bacteria in the intestine, reducing intestinal inflammation and diarrhea, maintaining intestinal microecological balance and intestinal health in all dimensions, and laying a solid foundation for efficient nutrient absorption.
